April 1, 2009 – JustFundKY announces details on Annual Event.

  • JustFundKY has announced that their annual event will be on September 12th, 2009, at the Kentucky Horse Park.  Similar to the Lexington Philharmonic’s Picnic with the Pops, the event will feature live entertainment underneath the stars!  For more info, click here!

December 31, 2008 – JustFundKY announces record total from 2008 “A Revolutionary Evening” event!

  • JustFundKY raised $130,000 towards the promotion of equality in the Commonwealth of Kentucky at their “A Revolutionary Evening of Dinners and Dancing” event.  The money raised will be matched dollar for dollar by the generous Mr. Cliff Todd of Waddy, KY for a total amount raised of $260,000 in 2008!

JustFundKY is committed to achieving equality for all Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered citizens of Kentucky.  We aim to meet this goal through holding highly public positive events and by establishing a “just” fund for justice.

JustFundKY has been highly effective in bringing together Lexington’s progressive community annually to celebrate and promote our just cause.  With highly visible events in each of the last two years, JustFundKY has made a name for itself as an effective champion for LGBT rights in the state of Kentucky.

JustFundKY has also been highly effective in raising funds to support our mission.  We are building towards a million dollar endowment, and we are nearly half way there.  With your help, we’ll get to the million-dollar mark soon.

JustFundKY started in 2006 with the dual mission of reducing discrimination through high-profile public events showcasing the positive contributions of LGBT persons, and by funding the educational efforts of other organizations to increase awareness and understanding of the LGBT community.
